This next number was a collaborative effort with a Canadian musician. Before I started posting videos on Youtube, I was writing songs with various people, and he was one of them. He writes a lot of music, and was eager to co-write songs with other people. So he would send me the music that he created, and I would attempt to put words and a vocal melody to it. I suppose you could say it was similar to the Elton John and Bernie Taupin scenario. Only without the success
We did a number of songs together, and we were both happy with the results. In july, last year, I started posting up my videos to Youtube. Very ealy this year, I started to encourage my canadian musical friend to start posting his own music up to Youtube as well. He has grown very quickly on there, and that's no surprise to me. He is very talented.
Now to the point of the post, and the song in question. He posted up some music, inviting others to put words to it. It was a pretty good tune, as most of his are. I could hear the words in my head, so I proceeded to write the words and vocal melody. The resultant song was called "Traffic signals". With a lot of my videos, I've used images, and the images in this video are related to the meaning of the song.
